How it connects. Public X is built in: Bots can search posts, read profiles and mentions, and check trends without signing in as you. The optional X plugin in Connect apps adds your DMs, bookmarks and home timeline, and needs X API credits on your X developer account. You can also tag @bot on a post to hand it to your main Bot.

A post is public and permanent the moment it goes out. The X plugin also costs X API credits on your own developer account.
Set up X safely
- Try the template without connecting X first; public reading may be all it needs.
- If it needs the X plugin, check your X API credit balance and limits.
- Tell the Bot to draft posts and replies for you to publish.
Ask first rules to add before connecting
In Settings → General → Bot → Custom Rules, describe the action and choose Ask first.
