Grok Bot Templates is an independent, curated registry of public Grok Bot templates — the share links creators publish on x.ai. Every listing in the directory keeps creator attribution and spells out the access a bot asks for; the same link inspector is available for any link, and listings show a verification date where one exists.

What is Grok Bot?
Grok Bot is xAI's agent product — “AI teammates that finish the work.” It launched in beta on 11 August 2026 as the first joint xAI–Cursor product, runs on Cursor's infrastructure, and ships as macOS, Windows, and iOS apps.
Instead of a chat window you keep open, you set up Bots: persistent, named Grok agents that hold their instructions and tools between sessions. A template is a public, copyable starting point for one — which is what this site catalogs.
Bots
A Bot is a persistent, named agent — “Ops,” “Research,” “Inbox” — you brief like a teammate. It remembers its job, its context, and its constraints between conversations.
Cloud computer
Every Bot gets its own computer in the cloud. It keeps working — and its routines keep running — while your machine is off.
Skills
Reusable instruction sets a Bot applies on demand. You can create one by demonstrating a workflow once with “Teach a Task.”
Routines
Scheduled or event-triggered workflows: a Monday report, a reply when a GitHub issue lands. xAI has reported limits of 50 routines per Bot with the 20 most recent runs kept, and triggers covering time schedules plus Slack, GitHub, and Teams events.
Connectors
First-party integrations named in xAI's docs and guides: Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Notion, Slack, Salesforce, HubSpot, and GitHub — plus plugins and MCP servers. Bots request permissions conversationally, and you can require approval for sending, publishing, deleting, purchasing, and production changes.
Agent teams
Two to six Bots in one group chat. The common pattern is a chief-of-staff Bot that takes the goal and delegates the pieces to specialists.
There is no standalone price: a free limited trial opened on 21 August 2026, and since 26 August 2026 Grok Bot is bundled into all eight SuperGrok and Cursor plans, each reportedly with a weekly usage allowance (overage billed at model token cost; enterprise access is waitlisted) — a late-August 2026 snapshot, so confirm against xAI's current plans. The fine print, up front
What a template actually shares.
Template sharing shipped on 28 August 2026. A creator opens Bot settings, picks “Share as template,” and gets a public x.ai/bot link anyone can preview — the Bot's identity, description, skills, and routines — then add with “Add to Grok Bot” (the app is required). Adding creates an independent copy on your account, disconnected from the creator's.

One known wrinkle: users on the Cursor forum have reported a bug where a template's preview shows skills but the exported template ships with an empty skills list. If a template you added seems to be missing its skills, re-check with the creator — it may be this bug, not the listing.

How this registry works.
xAI has said an official bot marketplace is coming, possibly in early September 2026. This site is deliberately smaller: independent curation with attribution, access notes, and a link inspector — a registry you can audit, not a storefront.
- 01Sources indexed
Listings come from creator submissions plus public community directories — grokbot.dev, botdirectory.ai, and Grok Bots. Only official public x.ai share links are eligible.
- 02Daily refresh
Sources are re-indexed daily. Where a listing shows a link-check date, that is the most recent verification we have — dead or withdrawn links get flagged as checks catch them.
- 03Dedupe
The same x.ai bot ID appearing in several sources collapses into one listing, pointed at the original public link.
- 04Attribution
Every listing names its creator and links straight to their public x.ai template. We never copy or rehost bot configurations.
- 05“Link checked,” defined
Checked means the link had the official format and the public page responded on the date shown — nothing more. It is not a security audit, a code review, or an endorsement. Run any link through the inspector yourself, and always review a bot's live instructions, connected tools, requested accounts, routines, and approval settings inside Grok Bot before adding it.

Grok companions
The avatar personas — Ani, Rudy, Valentine — in the Grok consumer app. Personality-led chat, not working agents. Nothing in this registry relates to them.
Grok Tasks
An older scheduled-tasks feature inside the Grok chat app. Not the same thing as routines, which run on a Bot's own cloud computer.
@grok on X
The historical reply bot people summoned under posts on X. Unrelated to the Grok Bot product, and not something a template can contain.
